Seo: Google Now Indexes Facebook Fan Page Updates
Google, the search giant, in a move to enhance its position in the real time search engine results, will now start indexing Facebook Page updates. Its already well known that Google indexes Twitter updates real time. Recently with the introduction of Buzz, Google has also incorporated its updates in its search results. This does not come as a surprise since Yahoo announced a content sharing deal with Twitter.
It clearly signals that the race for becoming the top real time search engine is on. But Google indexes Member updates of Twitter and MySpace, it indexes only Facebook fan page updates. It is also due to the fact that Facebook has ties with Microsoft Bing in this regard.
This news will mean a lot to Facebook Fan Page owners who till now relied only on the Facebook traffic. Now with page updates being indexed real time, Webmasters will have serious considerations to have a Fan Page in Facebook if they dont have yet.
