Seo Marketing May Help In Market Share war

March 2nd, 2010

Many companies are increasing their online marketing spend as they compete in the ongoing “war” for market share, it has been claimed.

SEO Marketing May Help in Market Share 'War' John Lynes, managing director of Ashdown Group, commented on figures which show that the number of advertised marketing jobs has gone up since January.

He pointed out that companies with big budgets are now investing more of their capital into SEO marketing services and developing their web presence.

“Online marketing spend is growing rapidly and investment in non-traditional mediums is increasing demand for marketers with strong online, search engine marketing and social media experience,” Mr Lynes said.

He added that one of the biggest challenges for firms in 2010 will attracting and retaining the “top marketing talent”.

Meanwhile, Google recently advised that webmasters who utilise mobile advertising will be able to make their content accessible to more people.

This is because many use the search engine from portable handsets and can therefore be targeted in a different way.
