All In One Search Engine Marketing Pack WordPress Plugin

May 21st, 2010

All In One SEO WordPress PluginAre you aware that when you own a hosted WordPress blog, you have access to the All in One SEO Pack plugin? While this plugin is not available for a free WordPress account, surely you already realise the benefits of having a self hosted site and additions like the SEO pack is just one of those advantages.

Take a look at how installing the All In One SEO Pack WordPress plugin can help your internet marketing and SEO efforts.

What All In One SEO Pack Does

There is a whole list of features for the All In One SEO Pack at the WordPress website. Some of the benefits include:

Canonical URLs allows for the best URL format, i.e. www.sample.com versus sample.com or sample.com/blogpostname.php. Also optimises titles of posts automatically.

Cross functionality with other plugins and a variety of WordPress themes; also provides backward compatibility.

Page navigation links are fine tuned.

SEO integration for an e-commerce site.

Automatic generation of meta tags based on content; these can also be overwritten if you wish to change them.

Why You Need It

Effective IM relies on good SEO and that is what this plugin provides. It allows superior control over titles, meta descriptions, and meta tags all of the most important factors when optimising a blog to be indexed by the major search engines.

These capabilities extend to the home page as well as each post. For instance, you can add your main keywords to the home page title and description in order to maximise it while using different keywords on individual posts to drive unique traffic.

Post titles are very important, too, and the All In One SEO Pack plugin allows you to change the title from the default, which uses every word, to a more search engine friendly title that is better optimised for crawlers. You can also get rid of those pesky punctuation marks that tend to cause problems in various browsers.

With the All In One SEO Pack, you gain control of how your blogs pages are indexed. And for an e-commerce site, you get additional SEO benefit that drives traffic.

How To Install The All In One SEO Pack WordPress Plugin

Installation is very easy, as this plug-in comes with an auto installation feature. You can also choose to install it manually. For manual installation, upload the files via FTP to your server and drop them into the wp-content/plugins directory folder at the top level (not wp-content/plugins/). No matter which method you choose, be sure to back up your directory files first in case something goes wrong that results in corruption of these files.

Once the files are uploaded, you can activate All In One SEO Pack from the WordPress Plugins menu option. Once it is activated, you can select various options from the settings page and then enable it. If you are a beginning user of WordPress, you can simply opt to keep the defaults in place but if you are an advanced user, you will probably want to tweak various options.

There is really no reason not to install the All In One SEO Pack WordPress plugin. It offers many advantages that enhance IM efforts for your e-commerce business.

Have a most outstanding day.

Seo Copywriting For WordPress | Affiliate Marketing Blog By Shawn

Thanks for visiting the Affiliate Tip blog. Subscribe to my RSS feed or enter your e-mail on the top left to get updates by e-mail.

Scribe is a new WordPress plugin from Brian Clark, publisher of Copyblogger, that helps writers optimize content.

I have never been much of an SEO guy, so I was excited when I heard about this tool to improve my blog posts. Ive been using the All in One SEO Pack plugin for quite a while, but Ive wanted more.

Anyhow, Scribe certainly delivers more. The software analyzes blog posts before you hit the Publish button, and the Scribe API reports back to the WordPress interface with details on tweaking the content to get more search engine traffic, while maintaining quality reader-focused copy.

When Ive used some other SEO tools, the process didnt feel natural, where Id be asked for a keyword phrase and then guided to construct content around it. That method felt forced to me.

Instead, with Scribe, I write the content naturally, and then its analyzed, so my natural flow is preserved.

Also, Scribe reveals what search engines will think Im writing about, and it suggests changes to better reflect the language searchers are using. The software also guides me through remaining content elements based on SEO best practices.

Id highly recommend Scribe Im using it on all my blogs now.

The only downside is that Scribe makes me neurotic when I write short posts, because the software recommends a WordPress post be 300 words or more. Otherwise, great stuff.
